Califia Farms Launches Dairy-Free Iced Café Mixers for Iced Coffee

Califia Farms, one of the leading brands of plant-based beverages, has launched its Iced Café Mixers, which are dairy-free creamers designed specifically for cold coffee beverages. There are two primary flavors: Vanilla Sweet Crème and Caramel Crème, both of which are refrigerated and sold at Target, Kroger, and other retailers.

These iced café mixers are designed specifically for cold beverages, which is unique in the creamer category. This can only be beneficial for Califia Farms, as the rising demand for cold coffee and subsequent sales in the United States are primarily driven by consumers aged 18 to 34.

These mixers are made from a delicious combination of oat and almond milk and contain only 3 grams of sugar per serving.

Generation Z and millennials consume iced coffee throughout the day and throughout the year, so we saw an opportunity to develop a revolutionary product to meet their needs. During the pandemic, when the general population became professional baristas, hairdressers, teachers, etc., the consumption of coffee made at home increased dramatically. You remember, I’m sure. Since then, the demand for coffee products for the home has steadily increased, with Mintel reporting that sales of ready-to-drink coffee increased 44 percent in 2021 compared to 2019. In the same period, sales of refrigerated creamers and plant-based creamers increased by 19 percent and 86 percent, respectively.

Ginestro continued, “Consumers are seeking retail products, such as our Iced Café Mixers, to replicate the café experience at home. The combination of this at-home coffee consumption pattern and the generational shift toward cold coffee has made these products an instant hit with retailers. They view this innovation as a significant advance for the coffee category.”

Califia Farms iced café mixers are available for approximately $4.89; they come in 25.4oz bottles and pair well with Califia’s pure black medium roast cold brew coffee and pure black blonde roast cold brew coffee, which are both made from 100 percent Arabica beans.
